Maryon Kantaroff
Maryon Kantaroff (1933 - 2019) was a Canadian-Hungarian sculptor known for her large-scale outdoor sculptures which gained her an international reputation in public sculpture, working in metal, resin & cement. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she initially studied art & archaeology-and after completing post graduate studies, she became interested in sculpture. She exhibited her work extensively in Canada, Europe & the US, and was awarded several architectural commissions in Canada and was a member of the Sculptors Society of Canada.
